AlexandraMary Kelada, DO, MPH, is a board-certified internal medicine specialist at Roseville Family Healthcare in Roseville, California.
Dr. Alix was born at Mercy San Juan Medical Center in Sacramento County, California (just a few short years ago!). As a child, she looked at medical magazines and was fascinated by the pictures and the diseases that afflict people.
After graduating from Granite Bay High School in Granite Bay, California, she started taking classes at Sierra College in Rocklin, California. Then, when that wasn’t enough, she took more courses at American River College in North Highlands, California.
Dr. Alix went to the University of California, San Diego, in La Jolla, California, where she studied biochemistry/cell biology. She obtained a master's degree in public health from San Diego State University in San Diego, California, as well.
Due to her public health training, she is interested in preventive medicine and community service. In between college and medical school, she worked at Massachusetts General Hospital with breast cancer patients. She also worked for the Department of Veterans Affairs and worked directly with active-duty military and veterans. Because of these wonderful experiences, she deeply appreciates the men and women serving our country.
Dr. Alix went to the Alabama College of Osteopathic Medicine in Dothan, Alabama, and views health problems from a holistic point of view. In 2020, she completed her residency in internal medicine at HCA Florida Orange Park Hospital in Orange Park, Florida.
She came home after 17 years away to join her father and brother in the family practice! She loves to hike, go to live performances (the arts, music, and anything in between), and be outdoors. Dr. Alix has a bit of an adrenaline junky, enjoys exploring anything new, and has an overall zest for life!
